User-Generated Content Policy
Revision of June 22, 2026
This Policy sets out the rules for posting user-generated content in the PET ID service and the procedure for its moderation.
1. What user-generated content is
User-generated content (UGC) means materials posted by users: reviews, photographs and names of pets, listings for lost animals and rehoming, messages in chat with a clinic, and other materials.
2. Rules for posting
- post only accurate information and materials to which you hold the rights;
- respect the rights and dignity of other persons;
- do not post other persons' personal data without their consent.
3. Prohibited content
- unlawful materials, incitement to violence, insults, and discrimination;
- spam, fraud, and misleading advertising;
- materials that infringe the rights of third parties or applicable law.
4. Content licence
By posting content, you retain your rights to it and grant PET ID a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it to the extent necessary for the operation of the service (storage and display).
5. Moderation
We may review, restrict the display of, or remove content that violates this Policy or the Terms of Use, including without prior notice.
6. Complaints
Report content that violates the rules to hello@petid.care. We will review the report and take the necessary measures.
7. User liability
Liability for posted content rests with the user who published it.
