Data Deletion

1. Right to deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data and closure of your account. This also constitutes withdrawal of the previously granted consent to processing.

2. What data is deleted

Account data, contact details, and information about pets associated with your profile — except for data we are required to retain by law and for anonymized data.

3. How to submit a request

• in the owner account: “Settings → Delete account and data” (removes the whole account) or “Delete pet” on the pet edit page; or
• by email to hello@petid.care with the subject “Data deletion” from the address registered to your account.

4. Verification of the requester

To protect your data, we may request additional information confirming that the request originates from the account owner.

5. Timeframes

We review the request and delete the data within a reasonable period, generally not exceeding 30 days, unless a different period is established by law.

6. Exceptions

Some data may be retained where such retention is required by law (for example, for accounting purposes) or in anonymized form for statistics.

7. Consequences

After deletion, access to the account and related features ceases. Restoration of deleted data is not possible.
